- Wooden or aluminium greenhouse frame?
- Timber insulates better and fixings can go anywhere on the frame, but it needs treating unless pressure-treated and costs more. Aluminium is maintenance-free and cheaper, at the cost of more condensation and a colder house in spring.
- What glazing comes with wooden greenhouses?
- Horticultural glass (cheap, replaceable, fragile), toughened glass (safer, pricier) or polycarbonate (light, insulating, near-unbreakable). The listing states which — and it changes the price more than the frame does.
