Who we are

TerracottaTrove is operated by Applied Solutions Limited, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC746303) with its registered office at 6 Knockmuir View, Avoch, Ross-Shire, IV9 8RY. For anything in this policy, Applied Solutions Limited is the data controller. You can reach us at hello@terracottatrove.co.uk.

What we collect

• Privacy-first analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint you, and does not track you across other websites.
• Outbound click counts. When you click through to a retailer we record that a click happened — which product, which page it came from, and when. This contains nothing that identifies you: no name, no account, no IP address, no device identifier.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and requested URL) for security and to keep the site running.
• Email, if you write to us. If you contact us we hold your email address and message for as long as needed to deal with it.

What we don't do

• No accounts, sign-ups or profiles.
• No sale or sharing of personal data.
• No advertising trackers on this site.
• We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Affiliate links

When you click a retailer link, you leave this site via the Awin affiliate network, and the network or retailer may set a cookie on their own site so the retailer knows we referred you — that is how the site is funded. Those cookies are governed by the retailer's and Awin's privacy policies, not this one. See also our cookie policy and how we make money.

Legal bases

Under UK GDPR we rely on legitimate interests for the analytics, click counting and security logging described above — they are minimal, expected, and used only to run and improve the site. Anything beyond that (for example a future email newsletter) would be based on your consent, asked for at the time.

Who processes data for us

• Cloudflare — cookieless web analytics.
• Hostinger — web hosting and server logs.
• Supabase (AWS, London region) — our product database, including the anonymous click counts. Data is stored in the UK.
• Awin — affiliate network; involved only after you click an outbound retailer link.

Retention

Analytics are aggregate and time-limited by Cloudflare. Server logs are kept only as long as operationally necessary. Anonymous click counts are kept as long-term statistics — they contain no personal data. Emails are deleted once no longer needed.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data we hold about you, ask us to restrict or object to processing, and request portability. In practice we hold personal data only if you have emailed us. To exercise any right, contact hello@terracottatrove.co.uk. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We update this policy when our practices change and show the last-updated date at the top of the page.
