Protective guard around the FinSteam gas sauna heater The FinSteam Halo is a circular safety rail that fits around the top of the Botnia 81 or Aurora 81 gas sauna heater. It does two things: prevents accidental contact with the hot stone cage during a session, and protects the heater itself from being knocked or leaned against in a busy sauna. When you need it Family or commercial sauna where children, guests or rental customers might brush against the heater. Tighter sauna interiors (small barrels, cube saunas) where bench positions are close to the heater. Any rental or hire operation — public liability insurers expect to see a physical barrier around hot surfaces. Included as standard with all FinSteam S safety-pack variants (R11S, R14S) — buy standalone if you started with R11 / R14 and want to upgrade.
